For our second can release, we created a big, fat, juicy double IPA oozing with tropical fruity goodness. We used Citra, Calypso and a new, experimental (unnamed) South African varietal to develop flavors and aromas of kiwi, apricot, cantaloupe and mango.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy honey gold pour. Frothy beige head reduces to a small creamy cap. Subtle citrus and honeyish aroma. Sweet citrusy hop flavor. Notes of mango, orange, papaya and kiwi. Some underlying earthiness comes through. Notes of apple and pear in middle. Pleasant bitter finish is brief.
