Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a minimal off-white head. Dusty, chalky nose with lemon peel. Some pilsner notes in the background. Very sour flavor, quite thin and dry, with lemon peel and acid. Sour finish with some bitterness. Overall, a horrific beer gone very bad months before it’s best by-date. 100601

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and phenol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, phenol, and caramel, leading to a dry phenolic finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Tasting at Papsø
Cloudy deep blond color. The aroma is light, with some malt and dirty water. Weak body, light malt flavor, with hay, cereals; the final is a bit metallic. Poor and rather unprofessional.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze with a white head. Fruity nose with a slight tartness. Medium body, very sweet malts and fruit with a vague yeasty and phenollic touch. Subdued bitterness. Nowhere near a Classic! 010410
