Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark amber colour with brown accents; large head. Aroma of Belgian yeast (anise, faint bubblegum), malt, spiced rum. Lean, with light residual sweetness; some caramel, but overall lacking in the malt department; balanced bitterness; some spices (pepper, anise) and spirit; the alcohol is a bit too evident for being 6.6%.
Clean beer, it has some character, drinkable.
