27/07/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Dorata, torbida, schiuma leggerissima, poco persistente. Al naso sentori di banana, frumento, caramello, zucchero di canna. In bocca è dolce all’attacco, bananosa e caramellosa, discretamente bilanciata nel finale, forse l’alcol si percepisce un pelino troppo. Corpo medio, carbonazione alta. Piuttosto in stile, con un bel carattere.

Tap at Open Baladin, Roma, 10/02/13. Lightly hazed pale blonde with a decent sized white head. Nose is banana, toffee, clove, nutmeg, spice. Taste pretty much follows, classic weizen qualities, touch of booze. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dryish in the finish. Decent enough stuff!

2012 version - 50cl bottle from factory, 7.3%, "liquid bread". Unclear orange with massive creamy white to offwhite head, lacing. Wheat, yeast and sourmash on the nose. Well, it?s bready as description says. Lots of malts and wheat with strong yeast presence. There?s a weird syrup-fruity note i can?t detect what it is, maybe some citrus too. Taste is sweet. Texture is dense, thick, creamy. Finish is very sticky and yeasty with a soft hoppy folding. Budy is full, heavy, carbonation is mild. Particular brew, good for winter i suppose.6 5 6 4 13 = 3.4

2017 version - as above much more clean and refined. Very nice and quaffable even if quite strong. Similar to weihenstephaner vitus, good.

Muddy deep blond color. Sweetish spicy and banana aroma. Strange flavor, sweet caramel and banana, light spices, very light smoke and bubblegum. Out of the ordinary, but interesting.

Aroma is light malty, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100306]
