Crafted from barley and wheat, infused with Angelica archangelica during brewing. Bottled with abundant local meadowsweet, it embodies the almond-marzipan essence of the riverside plant. Anticipate herbal, tonic-like bitterness from the roots and seeds of Angelica archangelica, shades of gooseberry, and orange wine undertones. The aroma carries subtle buckwheat nuances. Post primary fermentation, it matured in oak for 8 months.

Bottle at Leskinen, Oulu. #495/707. Clear amber gold. Thin foamy white head forms a 3mm think band. Aroma has floral and almond notes before vinous sourness takes over. The flavour is similar to the aroma in that there is an initial pause before the sourness sweeps through. Floral. Sherbert. Not entirely lip-puckering. Light. Thin. Restrained soft-fizzy carbonation. Good stuff.

375ml. Hazy yellow colour and small white head. Funky nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Citrusy, herbal, rhubarb, tart, fruityness, complex but good drinkability.
