Full bodied weizen due to the excess use of malts. Part of the wheat malt that characterizes this style of beer has been replaced with spelt, an old wheat variety. The Evoluon was ‘off ered’ to the city of Eindhoven in 1966 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Philips. It was a sign for technological progress.

Hazy orange colour with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have a nice spicy note of citrusy coriander. There's enough of an alcoholic hit to temper the overall sweetness of the beer. Orange peel notes add a touch of bitterness in the finish.

Clear gold beer, decent cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, a nice light creamy sweetness, some wheaty tang. Slightly floral tangerine and mandarin bring up the back end into a light and semi dry finish. Modest esters throughout, nothing overwhelming. Nicely put together, quite drinkable.

Quick late rate. Smell- malt, yeast, Belgian tones, some sweetness. Foam- thin, caramel, sweetness, weak hops, weak Belgian yeast. Appearance- nice brewer bottle cap, somewhat simple label, but I feel like giving it a point. From - bottle Price - 3,49 for 0.33l Taste- caramel, sweetness, malt, weak hops, bittersweet tones and then a bit of alcohol. Generally malty, yeasty, Belgian-y with bitter-sweet tones. Bit boozy. Overall drinkable.

Lichtbruin bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet en fruitig met iets van banaan, wat appel en rozijnen. Echt wel goed dit bier.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie1986. Het is een oranje achtig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige geur. De smaak is vol en kruidig met hints van kruidnagel.
