2025's Ploughman Poet keeps the same abv, but builds on the success of previous year's with an addition of speciality malt to increase the flavour and further enhance the body and mouthfeel of a beer that already punched above its weight. We have gone back to a traditional ale yeast, fermented at an ester friendly temperature. The beer has an excellent balance of malty sweetness and hop bitterness with a hint of spicyness from the specialist malt. We are excited to bring you a beer that will satiate the palate.

Cask at Winstons. Pours clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of burnt toffee, red fruit, light spice. Mixed dried fruit. Taste adds sponge cake. Light spicy sweet finish.
