(950ml crowler from the brewery, sitting somewhat forgotten in the back of my fridge for a year...still lives!) Pours basically black with a huge pale brown head that fades slowly with a little spotty lace. Aroma is fruity coffee with moderate caramel and a soft nutty roast (cashew-ish), some floral vanilla, a bit of acidity to the roast as well, a little chocolate, marshmallow, dark bread. Flavour is moderate plus sweet, lightly roasted, earthy and fruity coffee, moderate floral vanilla, moderate marshmallow, dark caramel, touch of acidic roast. Finish is dry, nutty, some marshmallow, touch of acidic coffee/roast in the aftertaste, no alcohol warmth. Medium-bodied, oily, wildly overcarbed despite the super old crowler...better with swirling or time. For a beer that should've been consumed a year ago, it's actually quite good. With less coffee fade it would've been better but I like it more than the recent Smores Latte that follows the same line...less roasty, smoother.
