Bottle picked up from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye, Powys, consumed at Fairport Annual Reunion, Thursday 10th August 2017 picked up at Kernel in May 2017. Pours black as yer at with a tan head. The barrel ageing is good, sweet rich Christmas wines, dark fruits, rich with some vanilla. Smooth but not overly sweet, like this. Good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Oily pour building a solid, creamy, dark brown head, some of it remaining. Scattered lacing. Black as pitch. Roasted malty aroma with chocolate and dried fruits. Nicely blended taste of raisin, apricot, dark chocolate malts, oak and molasses. Malt-fruity ending, lingering smooth and warming. Full bodied. Lovely sipper. (Tromsø 24.05.2017).
