(473ml can from L’Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather milky medium yellow with a thick white head and some lace. Aroma is dank and quite fruity, peaches, sweet citrus, lime peels, almost skunky weed-infused tropical fruit, fresh leaves, earth. Flavour is off-dry up front, lime peels layered over pineapple, tart peach/nectarine flesh, pink grapefruit and tangerine pulp, light slightly bready malt core, maybe some delicate honey florals mid-sip, yeast profile is quite clean and low on estery fruits, the finish is bone dry however and rather crisp/mineral with light to moderate bitterness, sticky peach/nectarine peels and lime zest, grassy and a bit floral. Fairly light body, above average filling fine carbonation than can use a little swirling out, fairly creamy. Solid stuff from Le Ketch, dipping back into this series as it seems to have become the next big thing in QC hoppy goodness. While light, it was a really pleasant expression of southern hemisphere hops and I'm eager to explore more.
