(473ml can c/o Luc, thanks!) Pours near-opaque yellow gold with a thick white head and lots of lace. Aroma of grapefruit peels, cedar needles, sweet perfume, cannabis, soft Sabro-like coconut, some citrus pulp or soft yellow fruit juciness. Flavour of bitter orange peel, grapefruit, rich florals (like actual crushed flower petals), woody spicebox, conifer resins, soft coconut creaminess, some bready malt at the core. Light to moderate sweetness up front, finishing fairly dry and heavily laden with sticky resins, some bitterness and a little astringency. Long aftertaste. Medium bodied, soft carb with nice bit of creaminess. Interesting character, helps me better understand Talus after having it (especially under its HBC alias) in a lot of blends recently. Doubt it will become a single hop winner though. That said, this is quality brewing as usual for Badlands singles with good hop saturation and expression.
