Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a small off-white creamy head. Aroma is caramel, muscovado, some burnt sugar and mild spicy notes. Flavour is toffee, caramel, wood and some burnt sugary notes. Balanced and actually nice, even though the burnt sugary notes are a bit strong.

500ml bottle, shared with Skinnyviking. Unfiltered brew that poured a unclear, dark-brown body. Initial huge, bubbly off-white head. Dry sweet malts to the nose. Flavoured with caramel malts added by spices and herbs. Has not got so much to offer when it comes to Yuletide feeling (hotel room, Copenhagen 07.11.2010).

Bottle. A clear reddish brown beer topped by a small beige head. The first thing hitting the nose is spices, soon having company by malty sweetness, some dried fruits and a touch of licorice. Spices, dried fruits and malty sweetness in the mouth. Full body. Dreid fruits and some licorice in the finish. Decent but boring and not to my taste. 100118
