On tap at Fat Bottom, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out heavy bourbon barrels upfront, with vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is dominated by decadent bourbon barrel character, followed by lots of vanilla. Silky, creamy mouthfeel. Decadent treat.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Black pour with a thin tan head that recedes quickly. Small patches of lace. Bourbon, malt and coffee nose. Medium body with flavors of bourbon, roast malt and coffee. Oaky finish with a mild bourbon and malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Whiskey drown out most of the beer here and leaves a watery aroma like your pour your parent’s liquor cabinet into a half full water bottle. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Light roast. Tap at Savor.
