On draught at The Taphouse in Hampton. This beer pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted nuts, malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, nuts and grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft: Hazelnut nose, a touch vinegary. Cola brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Hazelnut and coffee flavor briefly, with a surge of blackberry at midpalate. Slight astringency.
