TCBW2025. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some chocolate syrup, coffee, some roasted tones with mild nutty elements too. Flavour is coffee, chocolate, some liquorice, mild nutty tones with some roast and mild biscuity and toffeeish tones too. Silky smooth.

Draught, third, shared with Finn. Black in the glass, scattered lacing from a tiny beige head. Inviting grainy chocolate on the nose, nicely roasted. Well blended malt-forward taste, cocoa-chocolate, coffee and syrup. Smootly roasted malty finish, long-lived. Well bodied. A nice one. (London, 10.02.2025).
