Lots of beers over the years have brought this recipe into focus. It all started with the brown ale that was our brewer Kris Ketcham's first ever foray into brewing. That first batch lead to the creation of numerous award-winning Stone beers, including another brown ale - Stone Lifeblood. Now we introduce the next evolution. Expect intense caramel and toffee notes, perfectly balanced with a citrusy Cascade hop kick. It’s already won gold at the 2024 US Open Beer Championship, and we couldn’t be prouder to share it with you.

Mahogany colour, minimal creamy beige-ish head; aroma of prune, dried sour cherry, cocoa powder, some hot chocolate or chocolate mousse, roasted nutty, rye bready and some burnt sugary-caramel notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some herbal hoppy notes; excellent "beer"
