Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of scrizzz. Pours a cloudy deep golden with an off-white head. Peachy and citrusy hop aroma. Solid body with lots of sweet caramel and fruit - a little overripe fruit. Sweet and hoppy finish. 140310

22oz bottle
Appearance: Slightly hazy orange with medium sized white head and nice lacing in the glass
Aroma: Pine, grapefruit and citrus
Taste: Piney, grapefruit, citrus and some sweet malts. Leaves a pine taste in your mouth
Not a bad IPA, but a bit to much malt. I’m not a fan of Columbus hops either, especially 100%. This would be really good if it was dry hopped with simco.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of riversideAK. Thanks! Pours a hazy dark orange color with a medium tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of bittersweet hops including citrus, resin and herbal notes. Yes, that kind of herbal note. Some nutty malty notes as well. Taste is very bitter herbal and resiny hops with a finish of pineapple and citrus. Caramel, toffee and nuts as well. Medium bodied. Pretty decent.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber with a foamy off-white head. Nice aromas of floral and fruit. Medium body with foamy/frothy carbonation. Flavor is slightly coarse caramel with a good dose of bitter - seems to be floral, citrus and touch of pine. There are sweet bursts off and on. Finishes caramel and diminished bitter. Dang good ale.

Bottle thanks to Americanbrew. Pours with a very generous off-white head over a clear copper body. Very good head retention, and foamy lacing. Aroma of mango, exotic fruits, pine, marshmallow and caramel. Taste is caramel, honey, herbal and pine like hops. A bit of bitterness and also some tea like aspects. Nice drinking IPA, but not too special. Medium residual sugars for an IPA, maybe a bit of table sugar quality to it. Medium bodied. Pleasantly light carbonation. Good.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Rating #2600. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Malty floral hoppy aroma with some hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter flavor with some hints of caramel hints. Long hoppy bitter finish with a long bitter grapefeuit aftertaste.

Draft at brewery in Muklilteo, WA. Pour is amber orange almost clear with a smaller off white head. Aroma of not all that much - some hops, and a sweetness that wasn’t in the IPA. Taste is hoppy, though muted compared to the Diamond Knot IPA. The sweetness also comes across in the taste, along with some nuttiness. The finish is a little bit flat, was expecting a bit more bitterness at the end. Nice, but not exceptional.
