Sampler at the brewpub. Dark golden color, clear. More hop assertive than the other beers in the regular lineup. However, its too grassy for me. Bitter and grass flavor. Clean malt character, just wish hops were different, not my thang for the hops.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a hazy coppery/orange colored body with a slim less than a quarter finger white head that barely coats the top of the body, moderate slightly foamy lacing tries to cling to the glass.
The smell had a slightly piney/resin, but malty and all combined through a sort of earthiness.
The taste was balanced between the malts and the hops, slight bittersweet aftertaste and a dry finish.
On the palate, it sat at/about a medium, and slightly sessionable. Carbonation seems to be adequate for the style and for me, nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall, this was a good AIPA that I would have again, nothing spectacular, but nothing bad.

Darkened orange Juice and pine cone nose Taste is quite good. It’s sticky resin though that is very persistent. Turn off after a few sips

Draught at the Museum. Deep, cloudy amber with a fine head. Nice hoppy nose, citrus pine, plus good malt backup. Flavor more malt centered, though resinous hops are there with ok biterness, though hop flavor a bit lacking. Solid though.

Tap at Pike Pub & Brewery, Seattle - 09/11/12. Lightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white head that soon clears to the edges and forms a pond. Nose is caramel malt, hops, light tropcial fruit notes - not very busy really! Taste follows, pine, hops, touch of mango and grapefruit. Medium bodied with light prickly carbonation, bitter finish.. Drinkable but more entry level IPA than anything nearing great!

Bottle - Strong pleasant grapefruit aroma. Cloudy orange with a nice long lasting head. Hoppy grapefruit bitterness from beginning to end with little or no yeast or malt characteristics.

Tap @ brewpub. Transparent, burnt orange appearance with a white head. Piney, dank hoppy nose, sweet pale malty nose. Sweet, dank, piney hoppy flavor. Not bad.
