Pours golden copper with a lively head. Avatar has a very floral nose while the taste is an elegant balance allowing the subtle flavor of jasmine to prevail while still delivering the I.P.A.’s essential hoppiness.

Draft pour pint at the fields location. Pours a light clear copper color with a short foam head. Wonderful white grape aroma. Smells like a sour beer. Flavor is very floral as expected with a ton of grape and berry flavor. Sweet, and super drinkable. Very tasty

22 oz bottle poured into a tulip. Clear dark golden orange with plenty of tiny bits of sediment and two fingers of off-white head. Aromas of big floral and herbal notes, flowers, light citrus. Tastes of floral, herbal and flowery notes, light citrus, caramel and sweet malt. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Probably my least favorite from Elysian.

On tap at Dig Bar. It pours a deep amber gold with a biscuity malty aroma with light floral notes. The taste is an Amazingly floral flavor - tons of jasmine & biscuity malts. Medium bodied with a zesty mouthfeel. If you like fruit or floral beers this is great stuff.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Hazy amber colour thin white head. So I had a good memory of visiting Elysian in Seattle and then I had this beer collab from Thwaites during a JDW festival and was a bit dissapointed so I was interested to see what this would bring. Drunk with some haddock fillets. Sweetish aroma. Some jasmine flavour no doubt. Some good hops too though. The jasmine and hops are quite delicate so I can see why they ended up a bit soapy on the Thwaites version. This though is fresh and delicate. The jasmine is far more pronounced. Do I like it? Yes. Some decent bitterness on the finish. It’s good. Doesn’t excite me, but it’s a decent jasmine accented fresh ipa.

Poured from the tap. Strong jasmine aroma and taste make it a little gimmicky, but it works well. Subtle caramel and hops that make for a slightly resinous, dry finish.

Today’s live review is this.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice golden bronzed amber color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Chunks of what appears to be jasmine flowers seem to be suspended within the body. There’s barely any lacing at all.
The smell, well holy jasmine Batman. I once had a jasmine infused beer back when I was stationed in New England by Rock Art and that one has no comparison to this. This has got to be the most jasmine infused smelling beer I’ve ever had. Luckily, after a bit of warming there is some light sweet malt helping to balance it a bit.
The taste was sweet and floral (hmmm...go figure). Its fairly balanced between the jasmine and the malts, but this is one that doesn’t seem to show much hoppiness to it. The aftertaste has a nice lingering florally soothingness to it that leads to a semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sits about a light to medium with a fairly nice refreshing sessionable quality about it. The carbonation is somewhat smooth.
Overall, what a really nice relaxing beer and that’s not the alcohol speaking. Though the jasmine could probably be toned back, I’d have probably have this again as a fairly good night cap, oh crap there goes the rest of my day.

1pt 6 fl oz bottle. Pours a hazy orangey deep gold colour with floating bits, white foam head and aroma of grain, floral. Taste is malt caramel, grainy with fruity orange & flowery jasmine notes plus some citrusy bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry biscuity bitter finish. Quite OK.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy golden yellow, thin white head. Jasmine is there on the aromas, alongside floral hops and caramel. Tastes as the aroma. Nice clean finish. Pretty good.
