Pours golden copper with a lively head. Avatar has a very floral nose while the taste is an elegant balance allowing the subtle flavor of jasmine to prevail while still delivering the I.P.A.’s essential hoppiness.

Pours orange/amber with a large head.Massive jasmine on the nose, almost to the point of exclusion of everything else. Some sweet crystal malt underneath.Flavours are exactly the same - jasmine throughout, some clean malt and a spicy, hoppy bitterness in the finish.Needs more carbonation. Perhaps a bit heavy-handed on the jasmine.

Draft - Orange and candy sweetness with herbal notes. Clearish orange with a thin white head. Herbal, can’t be sure of the jasmine, sweet, orange and a bit perfumy. Nice, clean, crisp and herbal. Fun IPA that works.

Floral aroma with hop overtones.. ours gold/amber with thick creamy head, lots of lacing. Taste is hops, malt, spice. A little of the jasmine floral overtones are also in the background. IPA with a little difference.

Tap at Elysian, Seattle, 27/05/13. Hazed orange amber with a thin off white head that retains well. Nose is floral hops, orange, perfumed tones, sugars. Taste comprises floral hops, light sugar, orange pith, mineral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Decent enough IPA.

Bottle: Poured an orange with white whispery head. Aroma was hops and floral. Taste was nice gritty hops but light and thin finish with a splash of floral. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilburs Foco. Pours a milky, yellow orange appearance with an orange tinged, cream colored head that has pretty good retention. Really inviting, mango, passionfruit, creamy, jasmine, potpourri, a aroma. The nose is a bit spicy with a sweet honey element going on as well. Just a bit tart, orange/lemon citrusy, fairly strong honeysuckle, floral, creamy flavor with a bit of an herbal, bitter, kind of syrupy bite on the finish. Peachy, honey aftertaste. Easy to drink and very unique. Another beautiful IPA from Elysian!

650 ml bottle. Pours a copper color with little head. Aromas of dough and flowers with a bit of incense thrown in. Strong perfume and floral flavors with a bit of citrus and resin. Interesting. An end of session beer - will cut through anything.

Tap @ Malone’s, Vancouver. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are jasmine flowers, soap, malt and hops. Quite perfumy, but still decent.

22 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 1-2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some good spotty lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, floral, pine, bread, caramel, flower petals, light honey, and herbal spiciness. Pretty nice and well balance aromas with decent strength. Taste of grapefruit, orange, caramel, honey, pine, floral, bread, flower petals, and herbal spiciness. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, pine, herbal, floral, bread, caramel, and honey on the finish for a good bit. Good balance of bitterness with malt sweetness; with some good hop flavor complexity. Medium carbonation and body; with a slightly creamy and fairly crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. The jasmine flowers blend well with the flavor profile; and there is some nice hop flavor balance. Quite enjoyable and very drinkable.
