Vanquish represents the most extended barrel aging we've undertaken to date. This double mash imperial stout started with an overnight boil before being laid to rest in freshly emptied Booker's and Willet bourbon barrels. After more than 3 years (37 months), the barrels were thoughtfully blended and left unadjuncted to showcase the beauty of beer, barrel and time.

Nice american oak, chocolate, vanilla, a bit of booze, and toasted barrel. Taste is quite sweet, with a lot of toasted barrel, oak, some vanilla and black chocolate. Good one.
