Extraordinary beer made only from malt-house, water from the granite historical wells of Jihlava´s brewery and from the soft hops products. The uniqueness is given extraordinally full taste, soft malt taste and scent. Even thought the alcohol content is 8,1% its taste is ranked among classical Czech beers - nicely bitter, with the stable foam and bread-taste. Also its colour distinguishes "Jihlavský Grand" from the others - it´s honey-gold.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Gyldenbrun. Høyt luftig skum. Litt kniplingslacing. God maltaroma. Behagelig maltpreg på smaken. God fylde. Blir alkoholisk tørr etter hvert.

16/XI/13 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 27/XII/13 (2013-1070) Thanks to Marie for sharing the bottle!
Dark gold to orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. aroma: sweet malts, bit sugary, some marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, pretty sugary, orange peel, bit of marzipan. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, grains, bit chemical, toast, caramel, bready, bitter ending. Just read the commercial description, don't know where it came from but the tasting notes match with mine. I always find this intriguing when I find this out afterwards.
