Extraordinary beer made only from malt-house, water from the granite historical wells of Jihlava´s brewery and from the soft hops products. The uniqueness is given extraordinally full taste, soft malt taste and scent. Even thought the alcohol content is 8,1% its taste is ranked among classical Czech beers - nicely bitter, with the stable foam and bread-taste. Also its colour distinguishes "Jihlavský Grand" from the others - it´s honey-gold.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and light astringent alcohol aroma. Clear amber color with moderate head. Sweet malt and bitter/astringent alcohol flavor. Rough finish. Pretty harsh.

Sweet, spicy, herbs, alcohol aroma. Beautiful golden-amber color. Medium white head. Medium sweet, spicy taste. Medium-full body. Creamy texture. Alcohol warm finish. Bitter, dry end. (7.4.6.4..15=3.6)

Taste: Sweet, malty.
Palate: Medium-full body. Creamy texture. Warming finish.

Bottled. Deep goldeny amber colour with mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruits, alcohol, sweet malts as well as some mild plum. Flavour is sweet malts, quite much alcohol, some fruityness, glue as well as some slight plum.

Bottled at Klub. Light amber-orange with a big head. Sweet caramel and orange with alcohol in the nose. Sweet, strong, flavors of caramel and fruit. Bock-like. Nice balance with the alcohol and hops.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear medium orange color with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, molasses, surplus sugar, mash, sugar, light to moderate hoppy, grass, silage, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, surplus sugar. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100226]

Tap @ Zly Casy, Prague. Pours amber with a creamy stable white head and lacings. Nose and taste is malty. Sweet caramel, grain and a bit of alcohol. Chewy malty and medium bodied. The alcohol is a bit up front. But a fine E.S.L

Bottle. Golden color. Citrus aroma, buttery and flowery. Malty sweet citric cookie dough flavor with some flowery hops shimmering through. Pineapple. Just a bit vinous. Grassy hops and butter in the aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel, but quite nice.
