Bottled, from Biershop Baden-Württemberg. Cloudy dark brown, mid sized creamy head. Fruity nose with mild banana. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Somewhat toasty with ripe banana and cloves. Some perfume before a finish with low-medium bitterness.

Pours a dark hazy brown color. Aromas of bread, malt, and some fruit. Flavor has a touch of sweet malt and clove, I think. Overall, not to bad.

Bottle (Danke, Stein am Rhein!): Slowly collapsing big beige head, reddish-brownish coloured, cloudy; sourish-fruity nose with a toasty touch; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, soft MF, medium bodied; toasted malt - again - in the sweet dark-malty and fruity finish. Pleasant Dunkel Weizen...........

(bottle) Cloudy, brown coloured hue with a massive beige foamy head. Yeasty and slightly sweet toast-malty aroma with a distinctive fruity note of red and dark berries and banana, accompanied by notes of cloves. Slightly sweet and sourish flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Slightly toasted malty and moderately wheaty taste with rounded fruity notes. Sweet and slightly sourish tart finish with delicate clove-spicy finish. Good one (03.VI.09).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Cloudy brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied, malty with lovely chocolate flavours combined with a banana-touch. A fine brew.
