500ml bottle from Hop Vault, Stourbridge, online. Mostly clear gold, with moderate sized white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, sweetness, touch of bread, pear, citrus peel. Taste is sweet, tangy and bitter. Quite malty to begin with then fruity hops come in, a bit zesty and grassy in the finish. Moderate body and carbonation work ok. I like this.

Bottle from Warwick Real Ale. Appearance - golden amber with big fluffy close to snow white head. Nose - dries orange and generally a muesli feel to it. Taste - dried orange and sultana. Wholemeal bread. Palate - close to medium bodied. Reasonably robust with a light malty finish. Overall - decent.

Cask in a bottle delivered from the Blue Boar, Leicester and drunk at home. Mid-gold, clear with a tiny ringlet of white head. Grassy hop aroma, some light citrus, golden syrup, iced head. Sweet taste of toffee and persimmon knocked back that little bit by bitter hop mid-sip, only to regain a sugary sweetness in the medium to long finish. Tangerine and burnt sugar in the aftertaste. Medium to full oily body. This is decent stuff, and nice to have cask again.
