Corked and capped 375 mL bottle from State Line, shared at the January 2023 PS tasting, 1/14/23. Hazy redamber, no head. Aroma of cherry, pepper, funk, oak. Taste is cherry pie filling, oak, fresh cherry. Earthy. Bright. Very nice.

This beer pours a clear dark cherry-red color with a medium pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lace. The aroma consists of tart cherry, wheat and malt. Medium body with a sour cherry character and notes of wheat, cinnamon and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a lingering cherry pie filling aftertaste. Good beer all around.
