This was my fourth Brodies beer at the splendid, little pub in Soho called The Old Coffee House. A half pint was served at the right drinking temperature from well kept cask. Deep reddish, or perhaps, mahogany in body colour. Glittering, naked on the surface. Malt-fruity aroma. Well balanced flavour of citrus fruits and caramel malts. Rounded aftertaste. A bit thin on the swallow, otherwise a delicious brew. Enjoyed in an almost perfect pub atmosphere on a sunny Sunday afternoon in London (02.08.2009).
