We've brewed this stout for each of our St. Patrick's Days in Baltimore. The use of fresh black currant puree is a tip of the cap to the sweetened currant syrups historically offered in pubs around Ireland to help mellow the roastiness of Guinness stouts. Our homage features a light tartness and a lively currant aroma. A delicious twist on a classic flavor combination.
