330 ml bottle. Pours a yellow brown with a light but lasting head. Very strong nutty nougat nose with a hint of vanilla. Liquid nougat flavor with little other than some late and light bitterness.

Draft @ Little Delirium.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep golden colour with a small beige head. Aroma is bigtime toffee and nougat with quite nutty notes as well. Flavour is quite similar with also some vanillaish notes. This is a sucky beer, as I love toffee and nougat in ice cream, hence I love this beer, which actually is quite far from anything I would call beer in both aroma and flavour. Well, I guess my principle is to rate beer as is, that this will be a hugely over-rated one from my side... but you have been warned.

Bottle. Clear golden body. Fizzy white head, slowly diminishing. Sweet aroma of nougat. Hints of toasted grain and huts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of nougat, grains, candy, marshmallow, butter. The grains and bitterness just don’t work with the sweet, candy flavors on top of the dryness. Actually, this is awful. Drain pour.

Bottled 330ml (BZ, BB 10/2012)
Honeyish golden, clear color, small white head. Strong sweet aroma of nougat and almond or nuts. Light bodied. Quite watery palate. Sweetish malty flavor, herbal notes (tobacco?), almond and then of course more nougat. A bit harsh, not so sweet than one would think. Basicly pale lager with nougat flavor added. More a gimmick than a beer, but not the total disaster - I can finish the bottle.

bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. How weird can it get? Beer with nougat? Clear golden colour, smells quite nice, not like beer, though. Not as sweet as expected, nougat flavours dominate, almonds and chocolate, too. Don’t think I need it again.

Bottle, 5%. Strange caramelly aroma, nougat I guess. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is also strange, rough caramel, rough nuts. Not good.

From Bières Cultes, Paris
Deep blond color, hazy; small head. It actually has a strong aroma of almonds, vanilla, cookies, and some paper too; weird but not bad. It has the flavor of an average Blond Ale, with a shade of nougat; the final is short and dryish. Simple experiment.
