Clear, reassuring and familiar, with an old gold colour and persistent foamy head. The warm sensations of malt are ideally balanced by the fresh notes of the aromatic hops used in the dry-hopping process. Full body, clean and intense, enjoyably bitter and pleasantly drinkable.

Bottle at Ripan restaurant, Östersund. A very plain type of golden ale. Doesn't punch in any direction. (20/7/20) --- Bottle at Basta, Östersund. Why is this beer always available at Italian restaurants here? Another disappointment with La Midona. It isn't a golden ale and that's where the problem lies for me, as it comes across more like a bock. Tastes, smells and ends like a bock, and no evidence of dry hopping imo. 2.8 to 2.5.

From 50cl bottle. Pours hazy and loaded gold, medium grain white foam. Aroma is malty, mandarin, bready, alcoholic. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is mostly sweet though not excessive, bitterness is not in the front here. Finish is relatively short if not for an unpleasant alcoholic feeling.

Swing top bottle at La Capanna restaurant, San Marino. Poured a slightly hazy light-mid brown colour with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops, quite floral too. Body is medium, average carbonation. Light sweetness and mellow bitterness. Nice beer.

Bottle at Caffe Berry, Sliema, Malta. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is grassy hop, citrus, pine needle. The flavour is moderate bitter with a lovely smooth refreshing citrus light grass hop bitter palate and a short bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
