Clear, reassuring and familiar, with an old gold colour and persistent foamy head. The warm sensations of malt are ideally balanced by the fresh notes of the aromatic hops used in the dry-hopping process. Full body, clean and intense, enjoyably bitter and pleasantly drinkable.

Slightly hazy amber beer, ghost of a head. Some fruit on the nose. Light crisp palate turning softer. Sweetish malt, a little nutty and creamy. Fruit salad sweets with a trace of honey. Semi dry finish. All right if a tad malty.

Bottled@Punavuoren Ahven, Helsinki (thanks KjellHell!). Golden colour with a small creamy white longlasting head that leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some alcohol, mild toffee, some slight herbs, yeast and a bit sugary notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, mild alcohol, some toffee as well as some sugary notes. As it warms up it got some slight gluelike sweetness in the flavour as well.

50cl bottle from Kihoskh. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malt with some alcohol and hints of hops. Slightly unpleasant, but decent enough. Drinkable, but nothing special.

50cl swing top bottle, 6.5%, 1 month after best-before date. Light amber to orange color, clear, big dense offwhite head with a good persistence, fizzy look. Strange nose, reminds me of tempera paint in distance, closer has yeast and alcohol. Unclear sweet grainy malts, honey, alcohol. It’s raw on the palate. Taste is sweet, faint hoppyness in the finish which tend to be sticky , fairly dry and ethylic. Body is light to medium, fizzy carbonation. Has a "homemade" feel and it’s raw and unrefined, but may be also because of its age, maybe a fresh one is better.

Bottled, 0.5 l. Pours hazy orange gold colour with medium, quickly vanishing white head. Malty aroma with hints of grain. Presence of corn and spices in flavour, light bitter finish. Medium bodied with smooth texture and average carbonation in palate. Worth of trying another Midona :)
