Draught @ Hop, Viale Regina Margherita, Milano, Italy.Unclear medium brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, light to moderate yeasty, english licorice. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, dry. Draught Red highlights in dark brown beer with a small, persistent, yellowish-brown head. Again very hoppy nose as is usual with Bi-Du. Some roastiness, which in the taste, makes me imagine (lightly) roasted hops... There is quite some restsweetness, but held completely in check by the roastiness. Bitter toffee, anyone? Quite well bodied, very slick, restsugars helping the body. Sweetish, but thanks to the good hosp, a quite near stoutlike "brune".

Draught at the brewpub
Dark brown color; thick creamy head. Nice aroma of roasted malts and malt. Good malty taste, very good structure, strong caramel and roasted malt character, light liquorice. Quite strong final.
