Brewed to raise awareness for injustices that people of color face daily and to raise funds for police brutality reform and legal defenses for those who have been wronged. Our rendition was pretty true to the original recipe, with an Idiom twist. Literally. We flipped the recipes percentages for Black and Chocolate malt and swapped out flaked oats for malted oats to drive home a more balanced Imperial Oat Stout. Chocolatey, creamy, complex and decadent, but not overly sweet or bitter. A delight in can or a glass. 100% of the proceed for this beer will be donated to ACLU of Maryland to help defend and preserve the rights and liberties of all people.
