We’ve once again teamed up with our northern Virginia brethren Fair Winds to brew another colossal hoppy beer. Our love affair began with Fair Winds interpreting Special Lady Friend, and now we’re interpreting Howling Gale in triple IPA form. With a similar malt bill to Howling Gale, the same hop combo (Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra), and fermented with the Fair Winds house yeast, Poor Life Decisions boasts an intense bouquet of peach and melon forward stone fruit with sweet pine resin in support. Remarkably, this intensely flavored 10.1% ABV behemoth retains a remarkable drinkability. Be warned!
