Sour Ale Aged in Oak Barrels with Peaches and Nectarines. Collaboration with Aslin.
Bottle Release: 2/26/22 - $16
We brewed an orange-hued base, then mixed-fermented in barrels with a blend of our house-culture and the house culture from our friends at Aslin (Alexandria, VA). After 11 months, it emerged onto yellow peaches and nectarines from Milburn Orchards (Elkton, MD). The result has snappy acidity, with enough body and sweetness to support the intense pie-like stone fruit aromatics!
Brewed: 8/27/20 - Bottled: 11/12/21
Final pH: 3.38 - Cellar: Up to 3 years
Bottle Count: 984 - 1 Pint .9 fl oz / 500 mL

Bottle shared by Levi, thanks! Pours a near clear dull orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sour peach and nectarine with a bit of funk and light sweet grains underlying. Flavor has strong sour peach with some nectarine with a bit of light sweet grains supporting.
