This Black IPA is named for our eerie and ominous band of crows who inhabit the farm. Taking inspiration from the classic cold weather treat, the chocolate orange, we added Ecuadorian cacao nibs in the mash and sweet orange peel in the boil. And for an extra citrus kick, we double dry hopped it with Mandarina Bavaria. The final beer pours opaque black with notes of dark chocolate, cocoa, and toffee, followed by a touch of orange in the finish. The only trick to this incredibly drinkable treat is how well it disguises the 6.5% ABV.
