I drank this beer when I was living in Basel between 2001 and 2003. It is an average lager, nothing Special, refreshing during the hot days.

(Tap) Clear golden with good white head. Aroma of grain. Light body with good carbonation. Some tartness, some breast malt, some grassy hops. It’s ok.

Golden body with thin head. Nose is corny, malty, yeasty. semi-sweet. Taste is watery, paper, corn, malts.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of malt, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, spices, and hay, leading to a softly bitter finish.

Swing-top bottle. Lightly sweet barley malt aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Sweet grainy malt and lightly bitter grass flavor. Not bad, not great.

Bottle 580ml. w. swing top @ home.Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, grain, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091215]
