(Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Vasagatan, Stockholm) Dark reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with dark fruit, caramel, toffee, raisins and dried figs. Slightly earthy or yeasty. Malty taste with smooth notes of dried fruit, caramel, toffee, bread, toasty grain and a spicy, bittersweet finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Lovely balance with a smooth mouthfeel. Nice beer.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget Nordstan, GöteborgOn April 1, 2009BB 2010-03-23Murky brown color, small tan head. Fruity and malty sweet scent. Sweet, malty, alcohol, smoke, dry taste. Long roasted dry aftertaste. Medium smooth mouthfeel. Medium to medium high bitterness.

Bottled at the brewery. Very dark brown, small beige head. Roasty licorice aroma. Sweet and full bodiedwith clean, spritzy mouthfeel. There’s asphalt, chocolate and bread. Quite hoppy with long salty finish that holds severe bitterness. A power-alt!
