(Bottle #4954, vintage 2007, at Pikkulintu on 2008-10-30) Dark amber and hazy. Large a bit tan coloured ice cream like and long lasting head. Malts, raisin and sweetness in nose. Full bodied palate with extreme carbonation. Mämmi, malts, sweetness, bitterness and some grass in taste. Malty and bitter aftertaste.

Cloudy deep reddish brown. Sweet aroma with notes, caramel, roassted malt and bread. Flavours is sweet with roastede mnalt, caramel and breadish notes. Ends sweet.

Medium offwhite head. Amber body with light carbonation. Delicate sweet roasty toffeeish aroma with caramel, pepper, and gingerbread notes. Sweet roasty caramelly taste with burnt toffee notes. Earthy, smoky background. Oily mouthfeel. Faintly dry-and-sweet aftertaste, almost a bit cloying in its sweetness, with grassy hops. Good, but too sweet, and lacking in character. Reminds me a bit of the Norwegian "gold" lagers. Might improve with aging. (0.5l bottle no 3274 of vintage 2007 at Tre Små Rum, Göteborg.)

Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. 2006 vintage, bottle #459. Reddish brown colour, off-white head. Strong aroma of rhum-raisin, malts, aromatic hops and alcohol. Malty sweetish flavour, somewhat alcoholic.

First rating(50 cl bottle from Systembolaget) 2006 vintage. Clear brown color, small white head. Small sweet and alcohol scent, a hint of smoke and marzipan. Sweet a bit smoky taste, some spicy pepper, also alcohol. Spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Bottle at Kookfest 2006. Amber, lasting beige head. Yeast/herb/malt aroma. Some hop. Alcohol, malt strength is there. Some plum/prune fruit. Odd. Too strong.

Bottle. Good, fruity, peppery aroma. Clear, red/brown colour. The flavour is dusty with a bit of roast barley bitterness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark mahogany with an off-white head. Fruity nose with some toffee. Medium-bodied with notes of roasted malt and nuts. Bitter, dry finish. Quite lovely. 210506

Bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Sweet malty and grassy aroma, also some roasted hints. Roasted malty flavor with some hoppiness. Long bitter aftertaste.

(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm) Colour is dark ruby with frothy off-white head. Nose is a bit hidden with dried fruit, caramel and dark cherries. Taste starts sweet, malty and fruity with apricots, toffee and a slight hint of smoke. Finish is drier and a somewhat bitter. Very well balanced, the hoppy finish saves the day.
