Bottle 330ml.Clear medium red amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, vintage malt, oxidide, dark berry, prune, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark berry sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100109]

Bottle. Reddish brown. Tiny "rim and island" head. Cherry and prune aroma. Some vanilla, chocolate and alcohol. Fairly sweet with carbonation and some bitter and sour notes to balance. [3.1] Bottle. Clear reddish brown. Off-white head completely gone in a few seconds. Aroma has berries and caramel, some chocolate and spices. Taste is better with some doughy yeast under caramel, dried fruit and spices. Drying finish is a little spicy. Pretty respectable.

Copper pour with small dissipating head.Aroma shows cinnamon, caramel, some plums, vanilla, dark chocolate and figs. Very rich, very appetising.Flavour contains masses of dark sugar and treacle, almost overwhelming in its sweetness. A fair bit of alcohol is also noticeable. No where near enough carbonation is present to cut through the sweetness.

From bottle. This a very nice attempt at a dunkel. Suitably malty with dark red hue and meaty falvours and texture. I’m definitely goping back for more.

Bottled. Nut brown. Tart berry aroma. Sweet and sweaty with nearly full body. There’s some caramel, some almonds as well as some warming alcohol. Salty finish. Flavourful, but a bit unrefined.
