Bottle 25 cl. Pours a dark brown with a vague reddish hue and a small and creamy off-white head leaving laces. Tart woody accents with a delicate slight note of smoke. Medium body, dry roastiness, tobacco and ashes, a tart woody edge and a rather distinct tar-like malt bitterness. The woody notes are in there throughout. Yummy and rather sophisticated. 010810

Thanks again to Jan ... deep black ... huge tan head ... roast malt ... some sour tones nose... again the sour tones are there ... im not sure the bottle has stood up :-) ... but behind the sourness is a nice solid chocolate roast ... not workin ... Ok reading others ... they seem to dig the sourness ... and it does have some red wine tones ... but still not workin

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thick lazing dark brown head. The aroma has strong notes of brettanomyces, wood, roasted malt, and a bit of citrus. The flavor is sweet with a lemony, brettanomyces, acidic note and notes of wood and roasted malt, as well as light notes of chocolate, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma has berries, chocolate, funk and wood, with a red-wine-like sourness/tannin. Flavour is sour and wooden, keeping the chocolate, licorice and other roasted notes in the background. Acidic and herbal hoppy finish.
