A dark, rich and layered stout with a wonderful silky texture and a lingering finish. We use a complex mash including roasted barley and oats along with 3 types of malt to give the beer plenty of black coffee and dark chocolate notes that make this stout intense yet approachable.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, caramel, dark chocolate, just a slight tartness. Flavor is malty, caramel, coffee, dark chocolate. Medium body, lively carbonation, sweet finish with a touch of alcohol. 020714

330ml bottle. Black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma with hints of malt lozenge, rock sugar, a cautious touch of roast. Taste is slightly roasty dark malty, some malt-spiciness,moderately sweet dark malty, hints of malt lozenge; cautiously dry, minimally roasty finish. Slightly restricted, narrow.

(bottle, 33cl) Black colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Mildly roasted and slightly sugary malty nose with notes of leather and milk chocolate. Moderately sweet and slightly roasty bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly roasted malt character with notes of chocolate and liquorice; medium-dry sweet-bitter, mildly roasty finish with notes of chocolate in the aftertaste. 10.VI.14

chyba jeden ze slabszych stoutow jakie pilem. Wogole nie przypomina imperiala, moze tylko za sprawa podwyzszonego alk. Jest owszem czarne geste, z piana szybko opadajaca, wszystko podobne do RIS. Ale w smaku juz gozej. Przypomina zwykly owsiany stout. Slodkawy dla mnie nazbyt przesadnie brak na finiszu tej harakterystycznej goryczki ktora sie odclaniala przy kosztowaniu dobrych "craft" imperial Stoutow. W smaku jakby skrzyzowac schwarzbiera ze zwyklym stoutem. Brak zlozonosci i wytrawnosci. Koncowka zdecydowanie zawodzi.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy but stable light tan head. Dark aroma of malt, caramel and coffee, with notes of roast. Sweet, malty flavour, with notes of roast, chocolate and liquorice. Roasty and bitter, metallic finish, with hints of salty liquorice. Medium body. Easily drinkable and nice.
