A dark, rich and layered stout with a wonderful silky texture and a lingering finish. We use a complex mash including roasted barley and oats along with 3 types of malt to give the beer plenty of black coffee and dark chocolate notes that make this stout intense yet approachable.

Bottle 330ml (Alko)
Dark brown, almost opaque color, medium-sized cola head. Sweet malty, soya sauce and sweet licorice aroma. Medium-bodied. Licorice, chocolate, sweetness, toasted maltyness, lactose. Finish has some minty hop bitterness. Nothing wrong with this, Iām just not a big fan of lactose bombs.

Bottled (from Alko Kivihaka, Vaasa). Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown foamy head, which lasts for quite a while. Aroma is oat, mild toasted notes, a bit sweet malts as well as some raisins. Flavour is rather similar in a good balance.

33 cl bottle @ home, no BBE info found
Aroma has oat, chocolate and slightly sour milky tones. Flavour has milk chocolate, some sourish milky tones and hints of salty licorice. Nice, but too much sourness here for my taste.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear black color with large frothy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, leather and cereals. Taste starts with sweet chocolate and grainy, follows by smokiness and mild roasted acidity, mouthfeel is warming mild alcoholic, while finish is sweet, without any noticable bitterness. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Smooth and rich "go to sleep" beer...

A black beer with a medium and beige head. The aroma is stronglys bready, slightly roasted, sour ryebread, some herbs. Taste is more roasted than aroma, some coffee, nice sweetness, herbs in the end. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation, quite smooth to drink. Interesting stout but slightly too much as dark lager at least in the aroma, the taste is better. Stout with bread.
