Pours from crowler a hazy purple-maroon color with a medium thick pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a film. Stringy lacing. The aroma consists of tart berry, citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with a tart raspberry and citrus character, and notes of wheat and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a mixed berry aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
Top shelf light Berliner. Mad purple mad raspy.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy deep purple with a light purple head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of rich tart pie berries with a hint of sweet grain underlying. Flavor has sour berries with a bit of tart boysenberry and a bit of sweet wheat underlying.
