Tap at Apollo. Nice creamy head with excellent duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are soap, licorice, roast malt and notes of smoke and coffee.

Draught @ Bryggeriet Apollo, Vesterbrogade 3, 1620 København, Denmark.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, butter, smoke - peat - tar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and burnt + burnt caramel bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Not harmonic but it gets better the more you drink of it .. [20100108]

January 2010, Copenhagen. Dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aroma is rich malty, with grainy notes, and a hint of diacetyl. Sweet malty flavour with smoked and roasted notes. Heavy carbonation. 2.8

November 2010, Odense. Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of licorice, roasted malt and smoke. Sweet licorice flavour with smoke. Much cleaner this time, clearly superior

Tap @ Apollo, Copenhagen. Pours black with a small creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roasted coffee with hints of smoke and butter. Roasted flavor with a whiff of smoke, butter and caramel. Medium and smooth body.

Red brown with a medium beige cremy head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Sweet flavour with hard roasted malt, chocolate abd caramel. Finished sweet and roasted.

Draft. A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has strong notes of licorice as well as medium notes of brewmash and caramel. The flavor is sweet with an odd mixture of roasted malt, dark bread, licorice, and caramel, leading to a very dry finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a golden orange glare and a huge, tan and dense head. Aroma is roasted malty. Chocolate malty flavoured, light acidic note. Roasted malty finish. Crisp bitterness. Lasting rooasted malt impression, vague smoked note.
