On tap. 7.2% ABV. Clear orangey brown with a creamy beige head leaving laces. Aroma of sweet roasted malts, burned caramel and pumpernickel. Very solid body with lots of roasted malt and dark caramel with a solid bitterness and a warming alcohol finish. This new batch is simply a "Spitzenklasse" Doppelbock. 050310

On tap. 6.8% ABV. Slightly hazy orangey brown with a small off-white head. Lightly sweet caramel and some roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, nuts, toffee and a little pumpernickel. Lightly sweet malt finish. 7/3/6/3/13=3.2 080110

Draft. A dark re-brown beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and nuts. The flavor is very sweet with notes of butter, malt, caramel, and some nuts, leading to a dry buttery finish.

Draught @ Bryggeriet Apollo, Vesterbrogade 3, 1620 København, Denmark.Light unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, toffee, butter notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100108]

Brown with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with both green apple and diacetyl. Sugary sweet malt flavour with green apple and phenolic notes

Tap @ Apollo, Copenhagen. Pours dark amber with a red hew and a small white head. Aroma is heavy butter and diacetyl. Flavor is fruit, caramel, toffee and butter. Smooth and medium palate. Quite drinkable though it has some flaws.

Cloudy deep amber with a medium beige dense head. Sweet aroma wiilth roasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits and butter. Flavour had roasted malt, rotten vegs, diacetyl and hints of caramel.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy dark orange to amber with a small, creamy and tan head. Butterish and roasted malt aroma. Sweet malty, light caramelish and roasted flavoured. Slight bitterness coming through. Bitter and roasted finish.
