50cl bottle at home. clear amber, thick small light brown head. aroma is warm, mild christmas spices, anise, very faint hops, mild dark fruits. flavor is caramel, faint anise, cardemom?, faint dark fruity, faint bitterness that seems to come from spices. lots of christmas but in fact not a very well tasting brew.

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of star aniseas well as medium notes of other spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of spices - star anise and coriander, as well as notes of caramel, over ripe fruit, and malt, leading to a dry spoicy finish.

Bottle, 6.0%. Cough syrup, aniseed aroma, quite sewery. Hazy amber colour. Very small white head. Sweet flavour, aniseed, sewer. Tastes quite bad, actually. Like old, bad breath. Seems to have a good malt base, but something must have gone wrong with the spices.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours slightly hazy deep amber with a rough off-white head. Spicy sweet star anise in the nose. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, caramel, orangey accents and a whiff of licorice. Some decent hoppiness in the finish. Please, please Danish brewers: keep the star anise on your shelves instead of ruining your beers by adding it! 241009
