Pro-Fish-ional Umeboshi Gose Beer is a gose (go-sah), a slightly salty, gently soured ale made with umeboshi (NZ-grown Japanese apricots fermented here at Kereru). It is delightful, tart & quenchy, with delicate green tea notes.

440ml can. Pours a slightly murky mid gold with a small white head. Aroma is quite strong salt, sour beer & I presume the Umeboshi fruit (never had one). Beer is light and salty! Glad they only "lightly" salted it. Apart from the salt there is a mild fruit sour with a for me hard to pick fruit flavour. I could do without the salt but apart from that this is a pleasant & thirst quenching summer beer.
