Au Jus #5

(473ml can from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours near-opaque dark gold with a decent sized frothy white head and lots of lace. Aroma of mixed tropical fruit (mango, pineapple etc.) and some tangerine and grapefruit with ample grassy, dank cannabis notes and light white bread. Flavour is nice and dry but juicy from the off with pineapple, creamy underripe mango, grapefruit zest, floral tropical fruit, moderate dank cannabis, nice lightly chalky bready quality from oats and wheat but no real graininess, finishes bone dry and lightly bitter with grapefruit peels, cannabis and some light hop tingle. Medium-plus soft plush mouthfeel with smooth carbonation. Really excellent NEIPA on the drier side, good balance of fruity and dank, nice malt profile; what a single IPA should be.
