(375ml bottle from the brewery webshop c/o Herbalist) Pours nearly clear pale gold with a small white head and light lace. Notes are a collection of subtly aromatic white wine vinousness and grape skins from the gewürz underpinning softly herbal lemon without the punchiness of actual lemon zest, underripe pineapple without much sweetness, clean light to moderate lactic tartness, crisp and mineral cereal base, soft woody backbone but not overly oaky, helping to dry into the finish where the grape must quality shows a little more. Feels like a hybrid between a delicate pineapple ale and a white wine.
